One of the most rocking tunes from the early 60’s. It’s an adaptation of the famous American dance to the context of the famous seaside resort Saint-Tropez. This town, located in the South-East of France, began to welcome several celebrities in the 1950’s. Several famous French movies were shot and located in this place. In the 1960’s it was a central place for the “yé-yé” movement (to which Les Chats Sauvages belong). Then it began to be a vacation place for the international Jet-Set, along with Cannes since the beginning of the famous cinema festival.
