It’s probably one of her most famous songs. It’s a song about the human race, its errors and its failures. The lyrics are great and in my opinion this song becomes more and more actual with time.

Notes :
- There doesn’t seem to be an English equivalent to this expression so I kept it as it is, to keep the image of turning, going in circles, that sprinkles these lyrics. This expression means globally that you know everything about a matter, that you litterally made the turn of it in the sense that you’ve explored all the angles and sides of the question. In this context it means that men have the (wrong) impression to know it all.
- It’s probably a hint to the story of the Genesis, with God that “made man in his own image”. The character (and the human race) depicted here is not only a king, but also thinks he’s a god.
