Barbara

Nicknamed “la Dame en noir” (= the Lady in black), Barbara (1930-1997) is one of the most respected French singers. She mostly wrote and composed her own songs. And it was a success for her : during her long career she made a lot of famous songs, tinted with melancholy. She also acted in a few movies.
