Born in 1947, Bernard Lavilliers is a singer, songwriter and actor. He began to be famous in the 1970’s and still is today. His music is very inspired by world music and by other cultures. His lyrics deal mostly with misery, injustice and inequities. He has the image of an adventurer and a man who saw it all during his travels in many countries.
The band Les Fatals Picards made a very funny song about him.
