I always laugh when I see his ancient look that I find quite ridiculous (it does’nt really suit him), but Francis Cabrel (born in 1953 in the South of France, thus his accent) is one of the most beautiful voices of the last decades, and a great composer as well. His songs are often quite romantic and melancholy.
