IAM

Formed in Marseille (a big city in the Southeast of France) in 1988, is one of the two classic hip hop bands in France (along with NTM). Most of the members have an Egyptian pseudonym (Akhenaton, Khéops, Imhotep…). They were one of the most commercially successful artists in the 1990s in France.
