Louise Attaque was one of the most famous French bands in the 90’s. They were formed in 1994, broke up in 2001 and came back several times since. Their name is inspired by the French anarchist Louise Michel (who had a huge role during the episode of the Commune) and by the name of a band, Violent Femmes, that inspired them a lot.
