Michel Sardou (born in 1947) is one of the most commercially successful French singers. He began his career in the 60’s and made many famous songs. He’s also known for being one of the only French musicians politically engaged on the right, since most French musicians (and French artists) who deal with political issues are rather from the left. His song “Les lacs du Connemara” is a huge party classic.
