Born in Italy, Nino Ferrer (1934-1998) was a very ambivalent singer. One the one hand, he made a lot of very funny songs, for which he’s mostly remembered. One the other hand, he also made a lot of serious and melancholy songs, but most of them were overlooked. He was deceived to be a prisonner of this image of funny singer despite his attempts.
