Zazie (born in 1964) is a singer but she also composes her own songs. She took her nickname from the novel “Zazie dans le métro” (=Zazie in the subway), a very famous and funnuy novel from the 1950’s, written by Raymond Queneau (Zazie is the main character’s name). Her whole family worked in music and she practised it herself since her childhood. She really began her musical career in the 1990’s. She made many famous songs and wrote some for other famous artists of her generation.
