NTM

Suprême NTM (or simply NTM) is a French hip-hop band mainly active in 1990’s. Its two main members are the rappers Joey Starr and Kool Shen. Their name is the acronym of “nique ta mère” (go fuck your mother), a very common French insult. They’re from Seine-Saint-Denis, a territory near Paris, with a lot of poverty and a very important urban culture. They’re considered, along with IAM, as the main representatives of “classical” hip hop in France.
