French songs for parties

You are living in France and ready to party, but you’re afraid to be lost if you don’t know any song ? You want to wow and seduce a Frenchie by knowing some songs and singing along ? Or you’re just curious to know what French people dance to ? This list is made for you !

First of all, if it can reassure you, there’s a lot of English-speaking songs being played in French parties, so you won’t be so lost anyway. It depends of the kind of party you’re going to, but some very famous artists (Queen, ABBA, Earth Wind and Fire, Beyoncé, Britney Spears) are played very often, and also sometimes more recent stuff, pop or rap. Also French people are not expecting you to have a perfect knowledge of anything : a few words in French, or even just a “I know this song, it’s cool !” is really enough to drastically increase your sex appeal.

So now, let’s make this list. Will it be totally complete ? Of course no. First because I may forget a few, a person’s culture is always limited (and I especially don’t know rap music and electronic music very well). And because it evolves with time and new songs can be added progressively to this list.

And I will add this old school song, that is never played at parties, and it’s a fucking shame. So if you’re considering becoming an influencer or something, this is your mission : I want this song to be played at every party because it’s so groovy ! Thanks in advance.
